We don’t just help you get down the mountain. We coach you to attack the line.
At APEX, we treat para skiing and snowboarding as the high-speed, highly technical alpine sports they are. Whether you are aiming for competitive slalom racing or mastering your first independent runs, our approach centers on three core pillars:
Adaptive Precision & Progression: Every body moves differently on the snow. We break down the exact physics of your ride—whether that means fine-tuning the suspension on a mono-ski, customizing outrigger lengths, or adjusting bindings and stance angles to optimize an amputee snowboarder’s edge control.
Elite Mountain Guiding & Coaching: Speed requires trust. We pair our athletes with highly trained adaptive coaches and guides who know how to communicate line choices, read snow conditions, and build real-time confidence on everything from groomed cruisers to competitive race courses.
A Complete Winter Ecosystem: Winter sports require a massive logistical puzzle. We manage the heavy lifting—from precision equipment fitting and gear transport to safety protocols and resort logistics—so our athletes can focus entirely on their technique and the joy of the ride.

These are the core values that guide us every time we clip into our bindings:
The Summit Mentality: For us, the mountain represents the ultimate standard of personal excellence. We push our athletes to challenge their comfort zones, sharpen their skills, and chase their personal peaks, because we know what they are capable of achieving.
Inclusion by Design: The snow belongs to everyone. We design our winter programs from the ground up to ensure that specialized gear, accessible mountain logistics, and expert instruction are baked into the experience from day one.
Relentless Grit: Winter sports demand resilience against the elements. We celebrate the mindset it takes to brave freezing mornings, dust ourselves off after a spill on the snow, and head right back up the chairlift for another run.
Climbing Together: No one drops into a run completely alone. Every coach adjusting a sit-ski bucket, every volunteer loading a chairlift, and every teammate cheering from the lodge is an essential part of the APEX family.

The mountain doesn’t care about your limitations—and neither do we. APEX Para Athletics expanded into para alpine skiing and snowboarding because we believe the thrill of carving down a mountain should be accessible to every athlete chasing that gravity-fueled rush. We looked at winter sports and saw incredible passion, but we also noticed a major barrier: adaptive winter sports can feel intimidating, expensive, and difficult to navigate without the right network, specialized outfitting, and elite guiding.
We launched our winter program to clear the trail. What started as an ambition to get adaptive athletes safely onto the slopes has grown into a tight-knit, high-performance winter community where cutting-edge adaptation meets the raw freedom of the snow. Today, we stand at the top of the mountain with one clear mission: to ensure that every sit-skier, stand-skier, and adaptive snowboarder has the elite coaching, specialized equipment, and community support to confidently conquer the slopes.
